For the past couple of years I've being, slowly, collecting pieces of ironstone. I love the beauty and simplicity of ironstone, and specially the story behind each piece. I got some pieces at the Brimfield Antique show, some others at my local antique mall, and a very few at my local thrift store. This is always very exciting, when I found ironstone at the thrift store!!
I also love to display ironstone platters, dishes and small bowls in my walls.
I decided to change things around in my hutch and display my ironstone collection here.
This is how it looked before.
It was a mix mach of ironstone, silver and crystal pieces.
And here it is now, filled up with all my beautiful ironstone!

I played with my ironstone today, too! I don't have enough to fill up my cabinet so I had to mix in a couple of glass cake plates and a silver tray full of old glass bottles/shakers. Your arrangement looks so pretty!

DeleteI love your beautiful ironstone collection! The big pitchers at the top have the prettiest curves. I think they look wonderful grouped together in that gorgeous grey cabinet. That cabinet looks like it was meant to house those pieces. I like how you added some greenery at the bottom too.
